Vega SI-13 3.2 version:
- The device firmware is divided into two separate LoRa and App files (update for the LoRaWAN stack and the application part, respectively). When migrating from firmware 3.0, both components should be updated ;
- Redesigned FLASH storage. Organized recording of all pulse counters in non-volatile memory;
- Added priority for sending packets. Alarm packets are sent first;
- Function of alarm on threshold counters. The pulse inputs can be configured with an upper and lower limit, each with its own check period. If for the corresponding period the number of pulses does not fall within the specified limits, an alarm message is sent to the network;
- Added a timeout setting for disconnecting the device from the configurator;
- Added the ability to reset the accumulated impulses individually for each input.

For the previous generation of Vega SI-13 devices, firmware version 2.2 was released.

Upgrading of SI-series end devices

2022-09-28 10:22:06 MSK An updated version of the board has been released for the Vega SI-11 end device in connection with the transition to the use of a new, modern component base. In parallel, a new firmware version was released. Together, these changes made it possible to improve a number of parameters of this end device.

Among the main innovations are:

1. Easy battery replacement (no soldering required).

2. Software update and device configuration over the air. Now the device has an FSK service radio channel. Using the additional device Vega FSK Dongle, you can connect to Vega SI-11 using a standard configurator program.

3. The start button has been replaced with a Hall sensor. Now you do not need to disassemble the device case to interact with it. It is enough to bring the magnet to the area of perception of the magnetic field for a certain number of seconds and the device will perform one or another of the specified functions.

4. The accumulated pulse values are periodically recorded in the non-volatile memory of the device.

5. Increased energy efficiency of the device.

6. Improved overall firmware stability.

7. Other fixes.

The new version of the device board does not have the usual USB connector for connecting to a PC. Instead, a pin connector appeared for connecting a USB-UART converter. Now the connection to the PC and to the configurator program is carried out using an additional device (for example, a Vega USB-UART converter).
